Prenatal Meeting #2 ​- 1 hour, virtual
  • ​Induction methods, types of pain management, and your choices
  • Educational Handouts: Pain Management, Cervical Ripening and Induction, Patient Rights & Advocacy

Prenatal Meeting #3- 1 hour, virtual
  • Pelvic floor and pushing
  • Rundown of labor
  • Postpartum planning (optional)
  • Educational Handouts: What to Do When Labor Begins, Newborn Care Supplies + Tips, Postpartum Recovery Supplies + Tips, Choosing a Chest Pump
 
Prenatal Meeting #4 - 1 hour, in-person, @ your home
  • Practicing comfort measures, labor movement, and pushing positions
  • Home postpartum set-up​
  • Educational Handouts: Labor Movements Visual Guide, Support Person Tips for Labor, Optimal Fetal Positioning
 
5x Phone Calls during Late Pregnancy or Early Labor - up to 1 hour each
  • Discuss OB's plans for your birth and any late pregnancy complications
  • Discuss coping mechanisms in labor, help with timing of contractions, determining when to leave for hospital
  • Discussing options for possible pain management upon hospital admittance
 
Active Labor and Birth Support  - up to 5 hours​
  • Comfort measures, positioning
  • Emotional support and reassurance
  • Patient advocacy and help with processing medical choices
  • Will meet within 2 hours of receiving call requesting my presence

1x Immediate Postpartum Visit - up to 3 hours
  • ​Assist with skin-to-skin and latching
  • Prepare family for transfer to postpartum room
  • Emotional support for the first hours after birth
 
1x At-home Postpartum Visit - up to 3 hours
  • Debrief the birth
  • Mental health check-in for birthing person and partner(s)/support person(s)
  • Troubleshooting of any postpartum issues​​

Postpartum-Only Package

1x Initial Postpartum Visit - 1.5 hours, at your home
  • ​Debrief the birth
  • Troubleshoot first postpartum issues: feeding, recovery, newborn care, etc.
  • Emotional support and reassurance
  • Referrals to care providers and community resources for needs beyond my scope of practice

8x Postpartum Visits  ​- 1 hour each, at your home​
  • Optional: Reserve 2 of the 8 visits for prenatal support or postpartum planning
 
2x Extended Postpartum Visits  - up to 3 hours each, at your home​
Lindsay practices COVID safety: masks with KF94 (equivalent of N95) while indoors, receives latest COVID vaccinations, and offers hybrid options to clients.
​Due to allergies, Lindsay can't do postpartum visits to households with cats. 😿
